Harujion is Hatch’s spring blend, named with reference to a song and the purple aster flower. Its composition was designed around a delicate floral profile that combines three origins and several complementary expressions of Geisha.
Colombia La Golondrina Geisha supplies the principal floral character. A washed Ethiopian coffee from Hirut Birhanu adds a bright, tea-like foundation, while a small component of Panama Entre Pinos Geisha contributes sweetness and another floral dimension.
The recorded cup profile is complex florals, apricot and honey, with a light roast intended for filter or espresso. This is the specific seasonal Harujion composition, so its components should be kept distinct from other Hatch blends and later seasonal editions.
